Duck Tape Cake

I had a request for a duct tape cake, 

and I was at a complete loss. 

After researching and improvising, 

I came up with the cake below.

I used real duct tape to decorate the cake board and 

a silver edible spray to give the duck tape effect to the letters and top tier. 

 For the top tier, I cut out the cardboard center of the duct tape roll 

and put it inside the cake, 

so that it would look like an actual roll of duct tape. 

It came out better than I thought...

Pink and Zebra.

I made a pink and zebra cake and cupcakes for my sister-in-law's

 birthday party a couple of weeks ago. 

The party was a blast, but it was outside, 

so my cupcakes kept melting... 

Lesson learned though,

 i'll just have to find a thicker frosting for next time...

Baby Shower Time!!!

Just want to welcome my brother's beautiful new baby Skyler!

Having a new baby is always such a precious and cherished time to enjoy.  

I made a two-tiered cake for the baby shower party, 

and threw in some cake pops to match. 

Made some with little baby footprints!! Sooo precious...
