Football Fever!!!

I got this cake order for my twin cousins 19th birthday. One liked Raiders, and the other liked the Broncos.

I used the exploding-effect on both of the cakes,
using a football made of RKT and covered with fondant.

The Raiders cake was a Vanilla Cake with Caramel Frosting.

And the Broncos cake was a Vanilla cake with Vanilla Frosting.

All of the accents and logos were hand-made out of fondant.

Farewell...

It was a sad, sad day in my little town... I had to say good-bye to my boss. She and her Hubby were moving    hundreds of miles away, so we had a little Farewell Party at my work.

This was actually a simple cake.
I used the Nature Mold from wilton to make the flowers out of fondant.

All of the fondant accents were free-handed.
This was the Vanilla Cake with Strawberry Cream Cheese Filling.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

I was able to do this TMNT cake for a little boys birthday party.
It was done in a really short amount of time, because it got ordered the night before,
so this is what I came up with....

All characters and decorations were made of fondant, and hand-crafted...
and the top of that cake was made to look like a sewer cover.

This cake was the popular Triple Chocolate cake.

Chocolate Bliss Cupcakes!

I had a huge craving for chocolate one day,
and just happened to have some chocolate cupcakes from the
left-over Triple Chocolate cake batter I had from one of my cakes,
so I decided to put some frosting recipes to use...

So I made Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes....

Oreo Crumb Cupcakes.....
....and some with Oreo Buttercream Frosting.....

Rolo Cupcakes with Caramel Frosting.....

And Mini-cupcake Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting!!!

Boy, that sure did satisfy my craving!!!

Jungle Baby Shower - Boy!

I got to do this really fun Jungle-themed Baby Shower cake
that was surprisingly really easy to do.
All of the animals and decorations were made out of fondant,
and the cake had a zebra and giraffe pattern on each tier.

The top tier was a Triple Chocate Cake,
and the bottom tier was a
Vanilla cake with a Strawberry Cream Cheese Filling.

I made a giraffe cake topper to hold the Welcome Baby sign.

I also hand-cut the leaves, and used the
Nature Fondant and Gum Paste Mold from Wilton to make the flowers.

Baby Bundle Shower Cake - Girl!

My cousin needed a baby shower cake, which was the
Baby Bundle theme.
I got my inspiration for the cake from the napkin....

And this is what I came up with.....

I found the letters at Michaels, and the decorations were all made of fondant.
The cake was a Strawberry and White Swirl cake
 with strawberry Fosting and Filling.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

A customer wanted two christmas cakes for some Christmas Parties she was going to,
which gave me a chance to try out different cake designs,
as well as some fun fondant characters.

A snow-based cake with a Christmas tree, presents, a snowman, and a penguin,
complete with a snow-ball border.

And this one is a present-shaped cake with a candy-cane border.

One cake was the Triple Chocolate cake with Oreo Buttercream filling,
and the other was the Red Velvet cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Christmas Goodies!!!

I've had a lot of Christmas Parties to go to,
which gave me the perfect excuse to make some new recipes I've been dying to try.

So I made Chocolate-dipped Oreos, Peanut Butter Balls,
Chocolate-covered Pretzels, Peanut Butter Blossoms,
White Macadamia Nut Cookies, and Chocolate Chip Cookies.

These are Peppermint Cheese Cake Bites...

.... Oreo Truffles and Peanut Butter Blossoms....

 ......and Snickers Cheese Cake Bites......

All very yummy!!!!

Dodger Pride!!!

I was asked to do a birthday cake for my daughter's teachers Hubby...
(lets see if you can process that).
Anyway, hes a dodger fan who was turning 32.....

This is the result....
The cake was Triple Chocolate cake, which is a chocolate cake with
chocolate chips and chocolate frosting.
It also had an Oreo Buttercream Filling.
Mmmmm, my mouth is drooling just remembering it.
The red decorations were drawn on with edible marker,
and the blue decorations were made out of marshmellow fondant.

Sesame Street... Again!!!

I did a sesame street birthday cake for my baby brother Brayden.
It worked out great because I saved the decorations from Evalyns Birthday Party,
and I got to do the cake that I didn't have a chance to do for her party.

I also did cupcakes, which I'll post a picture of later.
The top tier was Red Velvet cake, and the bottom tier was Banana Cake.
Both tiers had Cream Cheese Frosting.
